Gray’s Degree Show / Event Branding Campaign
   -> Gray’s School of Art Degree Show 2024
   -> In collaboration with Bronny Farquar,
         The Gatehouse, and LookAgain
   -> January - June 2024

During a six-month placement at The Gatehouse Design and Print Agency, I collaborated with fellow student Bronny Farquhar to design the full campaign identity for the Gray’s School of Art Degree Show 2024. Our work spanned branding, advertising, environmental graphics, and a wide range of print and digital collateral.

The campaign was developed around the theme “the art of making,” which we interpreted through the lens of creative mistakes—an honest and often celebrated part of the art school experience. With generous support from The Gatehouse team and LookAgain, we were given full creative freedom to explore and execute our vision.

Heatwave / Event Branding Campaign

    -> Heatwave III - Event Branding and Advertising
    -> Commissioned by Between the Lines
    -> Self Directed / March - May 2025

In spring 2025, I was commissioned by Aberdeen-based media company Between the Lines to develop the branding and promotional campaign for their annual rap showcase, Heatwave III. This self-led project allowed me to take full creative ownership, from initial concept to final delivery.

The brief centered on celebrating the grassroots rap culture fostered by Between the Lines and Cold Grey Music—an independent scene grown outside of major label influence. To reflect this ethos, I incorporated DIY design methods that emphasized the bold, self-made spirit of the community, while ensuring the final outputs remained polished, cohesive, and professionally executed across digital and print platforms.

Dictator / EP and singles artwork

    -> Dictator Remix EP: The Middle of the Road                  
    -> Commissioned by Dictator
    -> Self Directed / October 2024

I was commissioned by Scottish indie band Dictator to design the cover artwork for their electronic remix release of The Middle of the Road EP. The brief offered full creative freedom, with the only stipulation being that the final design should resonate with both their core indie fanbase and newer audiences drawn to techno and house music.

Drawing from my own visual influences within underground club culture, I developed a design language that merged the band’s existing identity with a more experimental, electronic aesthetic. Alongside the digital version, I produced a limited run of 70 handmade risograph prints at Peacock Visual Arts, combining analogue print methods, spray paint textures, and custom typography to create a raw, tactile visual experience.

Between The Lines / Branding

    -> Between the Lines total rebrand
    -> In association with founder Matthew Lusher
    -> Self Directed / October 2024 - January 2025

A full rebrand of Between the Lines, a music media and promotion company focused on supporting and promoting artist-first talent. The goal was to refresh the brand to better reflect its values and help it stand out in a competitive industry.

Working closely with the founder, I led the project from start to finish — building a new brand strategy that included a clear value proposition, target audience breakdown, and competitor research. I then redesigned the visual identity, creating a new logo, custom typography, and a fresh color palette. I also developed a social media and outreach plan, along with mockups to help bring the new brand to life across digital platforms.
